Does it cost anything to read or copy a code?
No, and it never will. Searching, reading, copying, exporting and downloading every code on this site works with no account at all. An account exists so you can add to the library — submit a code, confirm one works, comment, or keep a list — because a code library that charges to read codes has no reason to exist beside the free ones.
Where do these codes come from?
From the people who use them. Every code is submitted by a member, reviewed before it goes live, and stored with the source it came from. We do not copy another site’s database: a compilation of codes carries rights of its own, and a library built that way can be taken down in a single afternoon. That makes this library slower to fill and much harder to lose.
Why does every code name a region and a revision?
Because a code is written against one exact build of a game. The European, North American and Japanese releases lay memory out differently, and a later revision of one of them can move it again. A code that is right for one is usually wrong for the others, and "wrong" here means writing an arbitrary value into whatever occupies that address — frequently the save. A code filed against a bare game title is a code nobody can trust.
What does the unverified badge mean?
That nobody has yet confirmed the code does what it says on the exact build it names. Unverified codes are shown rather than hidden, because a code that has not been checked is still a lead — but they are never mixed silently in with confirmed ones, and the badge is on the code itself rather than somewhere in the page furniture.
Does Leumas host the games?
No. Leumas supplies no games and no game files, on this site or any other. The deck at consoles.leumas.tech plays cartridges and discs you already own, and this site holds the codes for them. That split is the shape of both products, not a caveat on them.
Can I get the whole list for a game as a file?
Yes, with no account. Every game page exports its codes as JSON, CSV or plain text, and the plain-text export preserves each code exactly as it must be typed — which is the format that actually matters, because reformatting a code breaks it.
