Curated lists

A game can have hundreds of codes and only a dozen worth entering. A list is somebody’s working set for one exact build, kept in one place so the next person does not have to rediscover it.

Why a list is not just a filter

A search result tells you every code that exists. A list tells you which of them somebody actually ran together on one build, in what order, and what each was for. That second thing is the part nobody writes down, and it is what makes the difference between a page of codes and a page you can use.

Lists are free to read

Reading and copying a list needs no account, like everything else here. An account lets you build and publish one of your own, and lets other people follow it when it changes.

Questions

Does it cost anything to read or copy a code?

No, and it never will. Searching, reading, copying, exporting and downloading every code on this site works with no account at all. An account exists so you can add to the library β€” submit a code, confirm one works, comment, or keep a list β€” because a code library that charges to read codes has no reason to exist beside the free ones.

Can I get the whole list for a game as a file?

Yes, with no account. Every game page exports its codes as JSON, CSV or plain text, and the plain-text export preserves each code exactly as it must be typed β€” which is the format that actually matters, because reformatting a code breaks it.
